Bingo

Bingo

In January 2007, the American Legion once again began holding Bingo games which are open to the public. They are offered every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. and are held in the nonsmoking hall of the Legion. Although smoking is legal in the American Legion Club, the law mandates that no smoking is allowed in areas which are open to the public. Seventeen games are played; ten regular games and seven special games. A power ball, known as the Legion Ball, is sold before the games start for $1.00. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to play Bingo.

Cost for the cards is as follows:

9 card book.....10 regular games.....$10.00       Extra 3 on Special Game Paper......$1.00 each

6 card book.....10 regular games......$7.00

3 card book.......7 special games......$7.00

The kitchen is from 6 p.m. through half time intermission and sells very reasonable priced snacks, such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, cheese crisps, soft drinks, candy bars and the like. For the early birds, a "special" is often available, which is a meal for only $3.00.

If you join the Auxiliary and are interested in assisting at Bingo or in the kitchen, volunteers are always welcomed. If you just want to have an evening out and a chance to win some money, please come down and play Bingo!
